Chocolatiers aus aller Welt geben sich ein Stelldichein und präsentieren ihre außergewöhnlichen Produkte, von denen viele ausschließlich dort zu bekommen sind.</p>

<p><br>Initiator und Kopf des Festivals ist <strong>Hans-Peter Schwarz</strong>, der das Event auf Wunsch der Tübinger Gastronomen im Jahre 2005 aus der Taufe hob. Damals gab es in Tübingen keinen Weihnachtsmarkt, Alternativen wurden gesucht und so machte man  sich gemeinsam Gedanken. Was passt zum Thema, was passt zur Vorweihnachtszeit und schließlich: Was passt zu Tübingen?<br>Die Idee eines Schokoladen-Festivals stand im Raum, man blickte auf die Partnerstadt Perugia in Italien. Dort gibt es die Eurochocolate, europaweit die größte Veranstaltung dieser Art mit über 1 Million Gäste in 6 Tagen.</p>



<p>Die chocolART startete mit einigen Ständen als kleines Event, sprach sich aber schnell herum und wurde professionell ausgebaut. Betriebe aus der Slowakei, aus Lettland, aus Litauen, aus Polen aus Frankreich, aus Österreich, aus der Schweiz, aus Belgien aus Südamerika und viele mehr&nbsp;geben sich&nbsp;heutzutage&nbsp;dort die Hand.<br>
Schokolade macht glücklich, das ist das Credo von Hans-Peter Schwarz, seiner Meinung nach lieben neun&nbsp;von zehn&nbsp;Menschen Schokolade,&nbsp;wobei der zehnte lügt!</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Fairer Handel</h4>



<p>Ein Schwerpunktthema zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch die Geschichte der chocolART: Der faire Handel. Natürlich hat man das noch nicht&nbsp;hundertprozentig erreicht, ist aber auf einem guten Wege. Immer mehr Chocolatiers kaufen faire Rohstoffe ein, zwar sind noch nicht alle zertifiziert, doch können sie den lückenlosen Nachweis erbringen, dass sie den begehrten Rohstoff aus&nbsp;kleinen Kooperativen beziehen und damit auf fairen Handel setzen, das ist ein sehr guter Ansatz. Übrigens gibt es am Sonntag auf der chocolART einen kleinen ausgelagerten Markt, wo nur solche Produkte ausgestellt und verkauft werden.</p>



<p>Einer der großen Sponsoren der chocolART ist Ritter-Sport, selbstverständlich braucht so ein großes Event auch zahlungskräftige Unterstützer, die Marke ist ja in der Region ansässig, perfekte Synergieeffekte. Wir Blogger durften im Ritter-Sport Zelt unsere eigene Tafel herstellen, man bekommt einen kleinen Eindruck davon, wie die Herstellung großen Mengen funktionieren könnte.</p>



<p>Hans-Peter Schwarz ist ein Genussmensch par Excellence, der Funke springt über, er weiß mit Wissen und Freude zu vermitteln, und so ging es mit ihm auf einen Rundgang durch die bereits morgendlich gut besuchte chocolART.<br>
Sogar die Deutsche Post ist auf den Schokoladen-Zug aufgestiegen, und bietet jeweils zur chocolART einen Sonderstempel an, für Philatelisten natürlich ein Leckerbissen, heuer wurden die Tübinger Weingärtner auf dem Stempel porträtiert.</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Stressfrei: Gerhard Madlon</h4>

<p>Gerhard Madlon ist ein&nbsp;kreativer Chocolatier&nbsp;der seine Produkte ideenreich vermarktet und dabei höchst interessante als auch&nbsp;delikate Kreationen erfindet.&nbsp;Für ihn ist Tübingen die Stadt des &#8220;Positiven Schokoladen-Wahnsinns&#8221;. Er betont, dass sich in Tübingen auf der chocolART von der Industrie bis zu den kleinen Manufakturen alles versammelt und damit genau die Vielfalt geschaffen wird, die für den Besucher interessant ist, Klasse statt Masse. Einige große Hersteller fahren inzwischen Produktlinien die den Konsumenten&nbsp;bedient,&nbsp;der auf Nachhaltigkeit und fairen Handel Wert legt. Das Unternehmen Madlon stammt aus München und ist seit 9 Jahren bei der chocolART vertreten.<br>
<em>Kalorienzählerei ist Selbstbetrug, Genuss steht für Lebensfreude,</em> vielleicht umschreibt man damit die Lebenseinstellung Gerhard Madlons ganz gut.</p>



<p>Degustieren durften wir bei Madlon die <em>Anti-Stress-Praline</em>&nbsp;<strong>oder</strong> das&nbsp;<em>Tübinger Kirschle&nbsp;</em>(Monsieur Madlon, ich hätte gerne beide probiert, vielleicht das nächste Mal). Ich habe mich für das Kirschle entschieden, und das ist gut so.&nbsp;Zartbitter-Schokolade, mit einer zartschmelzenden Schwarzwälderkirsch Sahnetrüffelfüllung aus frischer Sahne, Grand-Cru-Bitterschokolade vom Edelkakao, Schwarzwälder Kirschwasser und einer eingelegten, herzhaften, stückigen Kirsche, „beschwipst“ mit Schwarzwälder Kirschwasser. Rundum gelungen.</p>



<p>Übrigens verlangt die Tour über die chocolART eine gute körperliche Konstitution. Die Maßeinheit für den Schokoladen-Genuss habe ich während des Tages von Gramm auf Pfund gesetzt, einfach um den Überblick&nbsp;zu behalten.</p>

<p>Eine transparente Konditorei, unter anderem werden hier die Schaustücke für den Wettbewerb hergestellt. Dieses Jahr die Attraktion: Der Schokolino von Johannes Becker, zweifellos ein&nbsp;Meister seines Fachs. Heuer in 3 Versionen zu degustieren: Außer der Ur-Fassung, Vanille-Tonka-Bohne in Weiß, &nbsp;gibt es nun den Schaumkuss in Cassis und Himbeere (100% Fruchtmark). Man kann diese Köstlichkeit nicht mit einem herkömmlichen Schaumkuss vergleichen es ist eine andere Ebene. Geschmacklich, von der Sensorik und der Textur wunderbar entworfen und in Perfektion hergestellt. Ein vergnüglicher Ausflug. Die süße Sünde gibt es nur zu wenigen Terminen, einer davon: Die chocolART in Tübingen.</p>

<p>Ein italienischer Chocolatier aus der Gegend von Perugia hatte die Idee, die in Italien beliebten Konfekte, die bei keiner Hochzeit fehlen dürfen, auf ein höheres Geschmacksniveau zu heben. Die &#8211; urprünglich &#8211;&nbsp;süß überzogenen Mandeln werden zuhauf&nbsp;bei diesen Anlässen verteilt, sind aber oft billige&nbsp;Massenware. Fausto&nbsp;Ercolani hat da Hand angelegt, heraus kam&nbsp;eine Schokoladen-Manufaktur mit ausgezeichneten Produkten. Die Sorten mit Cranberries sind sehr stimmig, Ercolani legt Wert auf regionale Zutaten und bedient sich auch mit den Rohstoffen aus dem fairen Handel.</p>



<p>Wir wurden reich mit Schokolade aller Art versorgt, die typische italienische Großzügigkeit, Grazie Fausto!</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Wildschweinbraten bei den Lions</h4>



<p>In netter&nbsp;Atmosphäre durften wir dann bei den Lions den Wildschweinbraten genießen, natürlich mit Schokoladen-Sauce. Zeit um mit den sehr netten Blogger Kollegen und Kolleginnen Erfahrungen auszutauschen. An dieser Stelle auch ein herzliches Dankeschön an <strong>Joseph Feid</strong> aus dem Projektmanagement, &nbsp;der uns den ganzen Tag lang begleitete und uns bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung stand. Am Mittag entwickelte Joseph ausgesprochene &#8220;Ranger-Qualitäten&#8221; als er uns über Schleichwege zu verschiedensten Veranstaltungen führte, der Publikumsandrang war zu diesem Zeitpunkt enorm, ein Weiterkommen ohne fachkundigen Führer fast unmöglich.</p>

<p>Meine erste Schokoladen-Degustation durfte ich mit Jan-Marcel Schubert erleben. Schon in seiner Jugend &nbsp;faszinierte ihn die Schokolade (wem geht das nicht so?), daheim bei Muttern unternahm er erste Versuche aus dem Rohstoff ein genießbares Produkt herzustellen. Heute arbeitet er für die Niederländische Firma Original Beans und unternimmt Expeditionen in abgelegene Gebiete um vielleicht die Bohne seiner Träume zu finden. Fachkundig führte uns der Experte an die verschiedenen Kakao-Sorten heran, es gibt wahrlich große Unterschiede. Wir durften Proben aus Afrika und Latein-Amerika degustieren, unter anderem eine Sorte aus dem Virunga-Nationalpark. Ein würdiger Abschluss dieses Events.</p>



<p><strong>Fazit</strong></p>



<p>Ein Festival der anderen Art. Schokolade ist der&nbsp;Stoff aus dem Träume gemacht werden die am Ende auf der Zunge zergehen um dort&nbsp;Glücksgefühle auszulösen. Die Veranstaltung ist ein Besucher-Magnet mit unglaublichen Publikumszahlen, nach 6 Tagen wurden 300.000 Besucher gezählt. Schokolade scheint uns alle zu bewegen, zur Vorweihnachtszeit besonders nach Tübingen. Die Kapazität ist meiner Ansicht nach ausgeschöpft, mehr kann da eigentlich nicht mehr gehen, das muss es aber auch nicht, die Auswahl ist riesig, und das Programm zum Festival interessant und vielfältig.
